Local satisfaction as Haymills complete refurbishment works at Thetford Market Place

Haymills have successfully completed refurbishment works at Thetford Market Place to an exceptional standard, much to the satisfaction of market traders and Thetford town locals who are very pleased with the result.
Thetford is a market town set in the Norfolk countryside. The old market place is the focal point of the commerce, and is a busy part of town. The market place is steeped in history and is set in the midst of some beautiful Victorian houses and commercial buildings.
The work comprised of the removal of existing slabs and bollards with the renewal encompassing the same and setting in ornamental tree surrounds. The asphalt areas were also renewed and new white lining to parking areas.
The project was completed on time, involving careful planning that leans sympathetically towards achieving an ‘old world charm’ of yesteryear.
Haymills have an established working relationship with Breckland Council built up over the last thirteen years; and it is from this partnership that we were commanded to carry out the important work of refurbishing the surfaces of the market place.
